This recipe is brought to you my favorite 5 year old little diva. She has been begging for a bonfire so we can make s’mores, but we just haven’t gotten to it yet. Then she was struck with the “best idea ever, mom!” (she is not exactly lacking in self confidence, this one). We could “make an ice cream sandwich, but like a s’mores instead – with graham crackers and marshmallows and hot fudge and sprinkles and whip cream and chocolate chips and oreos…” Ok, so maybe I helped her pair down the idea a bit so our teeth don’t fall out due to sugar overload, but I admire her ambition!
All you do is take 2 graham crackers, spread one with marshmallow fluff, spread the other with hot fudge. Then put a scoop of whatever ice cream flavor you want. I had just made homemade vanilla dark chocolate chip ice cream the day before, so we used that.
Y – U – M! I asked little diva how many stars she gives this recipe – “42,000 billion stars, plus 2 thumbs up” (again with the self confidence).
You can make these ahead of time and freeze them too.
I think I’m going to let her do the cooking more often…
I’m envisioning cupcake pizza with sprinkles on top…
hmmm, then again, maybe not…
I also wanted to let you all know about a super fun online class that my friend Jennifer from City Farmhouse is going to be teaching! Check it out, you could learn to make all of these fantastic summer projects for only $10, what?? I know, I’m signing up ASAP!
