I know I shared my fun score at HomeGoods last week, but I didn’t show you all this fun little crate I found too. I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but it just jumped in my cart and stared at me with sad puppy dog eyes begging me to take it home…well, you know, if it had eyes. Sometimes you just see something and you know it belongs in your house even if you have no idea where, right?
It is hanging out on our dining table at the moment, but I could see it making an appearance at an outdoor party too.
I also wanted to share a fabulous new magazine with you all – Celebrating Everyday Life with Jennifer Carroll. A subscription would make the perfect gift for mother’s day (hint, hint Mr.)…
And I’m not just saying it’s my new favorite magazine because some of my most favorite bloggers are contributors, or because little ole me won the DIY challenge and you can find me in the first issue (although I’m totally geeked about it!).
Nope, it’s because it is filled with page after page of beautiful images, ideas, and recipes. Seriously, the photos are gorgeous – I promise just looking at them will make you happy.
Jennifer Carroll, the creative genius behind the magazine is incredibly sweet and totally talented, so I know you will want to check out her beautiful blog as well as subscribe to the magazine. Bonus they are having a “Treat Yourself” Mother’s Day special right now with single issues for your computer or iPad for $4.99 ($1 off the regular price)!
You can check out Jennifer’s blog here or, learn more about how to get your very own copy of the magazine here.
Oh and PS, I’m getting all tech savvy now that I have a snappy new smart phone (we won’t speak of the huge cracked screen my fancy new phone is currently sporting thanks to a certain overenthusiastic toddler I know) and I joined instagram! So if you would like to see some behind the scenes shenanigans here at The Lily Pad Cottage (cute kids pics, Buddy Cuddles the dog updates, and project sneak peeks) you can now follow me here. :)

What is the paint color?
Thanks! Cheryl
I love your style! We are repainting our house, could you tell me the brand of paint and name of the blue color you used? Thank you!
So beautiful! I love your kitchen table set where did you get it?
It’s old from World Market they don’t carry it anymore – thanks!
Several people asked about paint color, that’s actually what I was looking for as well but these questions were ignored ?
I Serene,
this post is 5 years old so if I missed a comment on it I apologize. The color is Brittany Blue by Benjamin Moore I believe. We don’t live in that house anymore so I’m not able to check.
