Hey all, did you miss me? Sorry I sort of disappeared on you! I meant to wish you all a Merry Christmas and I had a fun post to share with you all with our Christmas card and everything, BUT our power went out! We had a huge ice storm hit and we were without power for 2 days and that set me way back in the Christmas department. In order to play catch up, I just went radio silent a bit early!
So I hope you all had the best Christmas,
and Santa brought you everything you wanted,
and you needed to wear stretchy pants because you ate so much good food…
That said, I thought I would quick sneak in my top 10 posts for the year, since I missed you all so much! This is a combo of not only my top 10 viewed posts this year, but also a few of my top favorites you might have missed. A lot of my top ten most viewed posts were Christmas posts and frankly I’m Christmased out (except for the leftover Christmas cookies and stretchy pants…)
So here we go… (just click the title to check out the full post)
#10 Chewy Chocolate Toffee Bars
Yum, yum and yum! These are a favorite of mine and one of the only things I knew how to make back in the day, you can read all about my adventures in cooking…
I love to doodle on my chalkboard and I shared all my secrets, with you.
Possibly my most hilarious DIY attempt yet, but at least the end result was pretty.
This one surprised me with it’s popularity, apparently you all love a good pom pom craft, and who wants to sew anyways???
Oh these photos make me wish for summer, or a cocktail, actually both would be fantastic right about now…
This post chronicles my first attempts with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and why sometime the 3rd time’s the charm…
I love little man’s manly man room, you all seemed to too.
Another post in which I try my hand at DIY and prove the Mr. wrong – oh ye of little faith!
This is my number 2 most viewed post of all time, her room just makes me smile every time I walk in there.
Drumroll please…
My house tour is my most popular place to hang out! Which sort of makes me cringe, because it also boasts some of the oldest (read -worst!) photos on my blog. So, New Years Resolution #1 – I will be redoing my House Tour this year with up to date photos…
soon I hope…
I just want to take a minute before I head off to work on yet another hair brained DIY idea to thank you all SO SO much for following along on Facebook, hitting me up on Instagram, pinning away with me on Pinterest or having my goofy ideas delivered straight to your inbox!
When I started this blog about 15 months ago I thought it was just a place to post my ideas and hopefully stop annoying my Facebook friends with my projects. I never thought I would find such a fun community of people who enjoy being creative just as much as I do and who understand me – spray paint and all :)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
