Cozy Ski Lodge Inspired Christmas Tour
It’s that time again! My elves and I have been busy decorating for weeks (ok, so really I have been decorating and my kids have been “helping” and then I rearrange everything when they go to bed at night -he he he),  and I’m so ready to share my holiday decor. I’m excited to be part of Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk again this year as there are so many talented bloggers participating, so be sure to visit all the homes and soak up the Christmas decorating ideas!
Special hello to you if you are coming over from French Country Cottage. Courtney’s home is always so gorgeous! Thank you also to Joss and Main for sponsoring this year’s tour, I received some awesome goodies from them for the tour.
Ok, let’s get started. I went with a sort of Scandinavian/Red/White/Cozy/Ski Lodge (phew I know it’s complicated sounding) theme this year, and it was so much fun. I used a lot of cute cardinals, so this little faux tree from Joss and Main fit in perfect in our front entry.
Now that it’s finally December, my kids are excited to use this advent calendar that I found at H&M.
Swing on into the kitchen where I made this cute DIY tea towel art (see the how to here).
My kitchen is right next to our living room, so let’s a take a peek at my mantel, (you can see full details here). I got this gorgeous quilt block sign from Little Bits of Everything Etsy shop and the quilted stockings were a Joss and Main find.
Oh, and there’s my fun tree! I stuck a pair of vintage skis right in the tree this year (I won’t mention how many times I knocked the tree down attempting this…).
I also found these cute skis in the dollar bin at Target, which I customized by painting red stripes down the sides.
More cute cardinals made an appearance in the tree too!
The sunroom became my wrapping station this year, and it was so nice to have room to sprawl out in the sun and pretend it’s not freezing outside. I found this cute ribbon at Joss and Main.
I got a lot of questions on how I hung these wreaths last year, so check out this post for tips!
Of course our dining area got a little Christmas makeover too.
I filled this vintage wooden box with tree clippings, ornaments and felt ball garland for an easy centerpiece.
My Christmas mantel sign from last year is hanging out above my red buffet this year.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the tour. I’ll be posting more details about my tree later this week! The next stop is Jeanne Oliver’s gorgeous home!

Oh thanks so much Annmarie! I’ve got some fun things coming up in the new year!
So many things in these photos of your beautifully decorated home, it would take a long time to point them all out. The greenery , pompom garland and red balls…the hanging wreaths…and for my home to bring my drop leaf table to a more natural finish and the window seat in your sunroom are just what I want in our gallery. Merry Christmas! Linda
I’m strapping on my snow shoes and heading over for some wine! Love your theme, the cardinals and those giant skis in the tree!
Come on over and bring the snow with you!
Gosh, I love it all! Especially that tree — there’s some creativity! You did a beautiful job and absolutely accomplished that ski-lodge feel. I also really love your dining table centerpiece. I would like to recreate something like that! Thank you for all of the inspiration!
Kelly,
I love your flocked tree and your theme for this year. I’m really drawn to your photography. Your pictures are so clear and vibrant. I am still really working on my skills in this area and I love when I see someone take pride in their photography. Your buffet table is wonderful too. Great tour this year.
Jenn

xo Susan
Thanks so much Susan, your tour was beautiful as well!
Your home is so festive, the red is gorgeous!! Truly brings out the Christmas spirit in me.
This is absolutely lovely!! Can I ask where the console table behind the couch is from? And also the wood hood above the stove? Everything is so beautiful!!!
Hi Jennifer I scored that table at a local decor shop for only $100! It’s broken which is why I got such a great deal, but a little wood glue took care of things.
I love everything about your Christmas decor! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us. More inspiration Kelly style.
Thank so much Jil, Merry Christmas!
oh kelly, your beautiful home never disappoints. perfection. Happy holidays!
Thanks friend, your home looks gorgeous as well! I love your fireplace decked out for Christmas – so cozy!
I just adore the theme you picked! I’ve always wanted to stay in a fancy ski lodge in the winter time – I never thought to just make it happen in my own home ;) You are so inspirational! That was a very lovely home tour.
Thanks Cami, this way I can avoid falling down the ski hill ha :)
Love it! Red and white can’t be beat!
Kelly, your Christmas tour was beautiful. Everything is so cozy. Where did you get the Merry Christmas pillow? My Mom loves it?
HI Jennie, I grabbed it from H&M last year, not sure they still have it, maybe try eBay?
Love your style, it all looks awesome! I am decorating right now so thanks for some great ideas…I’m about to go outside and cut some evergreens and some holly! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Merry Christmas to you too Brenda!
Everything looks beautiful Kelly!! I wish you could come to my house and decorate for me!! ;-) HA!
Thx for sharing !!
You’ll have to get in line my mom is waiting for me to come to her house next ha!
I love it! It’s colorful, fun and oh so festive. All the other homes seem to have taken the less winter/Christmas decor approach. They leave me a little flat. But, your lodge has me dreaming of snow, the singing of carols, and being surrounded by the smiling faces of family and friends. Have a wonderful Christmas!
I definitely went for it with the red this year that’s for sure ha, thanks!
All I can say is, WOW!!!
Thank you!
absolutely beautiful as always!!!
XO
Kristin
Absolutely gorgeous- always always love your home and style!
Absolutely stunning Kelly! I love all the crisp white and red – and your flocked tree is amazing. Oh, and that sunroom… I’m still working on my husband! I am off to pin the heck outta this tour now!! Gorgeous inspiration:)

Thank you Gladys, sorry to keep you waiting :)
Beautiful! You inspire me!

Thanks so much Ali! It’s definitely my favorite time of year to decorate!
Oh your house looks so cozy and beautiful. That’s what I like about the way you decorated everything — beautiful yet touchable. I like your wrapping paper. I’m a nut about coordinating paper under the tree!! I bet the house is chaotic on Christmas morning!! Love it!
Oh yes I’m sure we will be up at the crack of dawn :)
Stunning Kelly as always! That sunroom of yours, oh my gosh!! Have the best holiday season with your beautiful family!!!
