Fall Home Decor Finds – Friday Feels

Welcome to another Friday Feels where I share what I’m “feeling” this week. This post contains affiliate links.

This week I’m feeling a few Fall home decor finds! I’m getting my house in order for a Fall home tour next week, (heads up it will go live Thursday instead of my typical Wednesday post), and I thought I would share a few in advance.

I try not to go all out crazy for fall, because I know the clutter will drive me nuts. Also, you know I like to really go all out at Christmas time, and I’m not sure the Mr. can handle bins and bins of stuff more than once a year.

Typically, I like to decorate our home with fall flowers, branches from the backyard, and apples etc… Real stuff that you may have around the house this time of year anyway. For example, last year I planted my herb baskets with some kale and cabbage from the local nursery.

Fall Cabbage Kale Centerpiece

It only cost me about $15, and it lasted all fall vs having cut flowers on the table that only last a few days. You can read more about what I used here.

I did grab a few fall pillow covers to add some warmth to the living room. If you haven’t shopped H&M Home for pillow covers yet you are seriously missing out. I grabbed several for only $5 each! It’s a great spot to get seasonal stuff inexpensively. Here are the pillows I picked up along with some other fun Fall finds.

Fall Home Decor Finds

  1. Cotton Cushion Cover
  2. Striped Cushion Cover
  3. Jacquard Weave Cushion Cover
  4. Brass Figurine
  5. Bergamot Candle
  6. Leather Tray
  7. Leather Storage Bin
  8. Candelabra Candle Holder

I know, GASP! They aren’t blue and white! I know, I said I don’t love orange, but these are actually more of a deep rust/brown color that give me a worn leather vibe. I love how they look mixed in with all my navy pillows. My daughter said “EW!” when she saw them come out of the package, but once I had them out on the couch with the rest of the pillows, my 7 year old son said “Well I think they look lovely mom, it’s very fall-ish in here now!” :)

If brownish/rust is not your color, still be sure to check out the rest of their pillow covers here, they have tons of great options! I think the most expensive one I bought was $17?

Along with that warm toned leather theme, I picked up this leather tray from H&M and these leather storage bins from the Magnolia line at Target. Here’s a sneak peek of it in our entry, I love the little bit of warmth it adds.

Give me all the candles in the fall – I love to have them lit at night especially once it starts to get dark so early. I’m playing around with the black iron looking candelabras on our fireplace mantel today, and I love that they are adjustable. I think they will be great on a table for a dinner party too. I also snagged the Bergamot scented candle, which is one of my favorite scents.

If you are looking for more fall decor ideas, I just stumbled upon my fall tour from a few years ago at our old house and it was fun to look back at! Check it out here.

Happy Weekend!

  1. Between you and I… your decor surpasses Jennifer by miles!!!

Keep up the amazing posts. It is definitely a gift you have!

  2. Did you order th H&M pillow covers online or do they have a physical store? Would love to see the line in person.

    1. Hi Michele, not sure where you live but I have seen the home line in their Chicago store that’s on Michigan Ave. I’ve never seen it anywhere else though. I think their return policy is pretty good though if you don’t like the items.

  3. Could not resist the candle as Bergamot is also a favorite scent of mine. Purchased the leather tray in the hopes a certain man I know will use it to corral keys, lip balm etc. etc. instead of asking me where these things are all the time. ?

  4. Rust and navy – a classic combo and it looks great! Really helps transition your home into fall.

  5. Love the Orange (I mean RUST) with the navy. I’m totally scooping up that leather tray!

  6. I too, do not care for orange…it is my least favourite colour, so last night I did pick up some small china pumpkins at a craft store we have in Ontario called Michaels…..I did get one in a dark, non garish orange and two smaller ones in a moss green, and a dark burgundy…..autumn is not my favourite season, so I usually do very little decorating for it….perhaps a little bit more added at our Thanksgiving which is in mid October …but that’s it…..oh….and I put two pots of chrysanthemums on the front porch last wknd in yellow and burgundy…..I hate to rush summer out the door too quickly!

  7. Love Love Love it all……..I always look forward to your posts.
I was born in a border town in Ontario so i can really relate to your Michigan weather and stories.
    Susan
