Whipped Goat Cheese Fig & Prosciutto Crostini

Toasted Crostini topped with whipped honey goat cheese, fig jam, arugula, crispy prosciutto and a balsamic reduction drizzle.

- french baguette
- olive oil
- 4 ounces of cream cheese room temperature
- 8 ounce log of goat cheese room temperature
- 2 tbs honey
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 jar of fig jam I used Dalmatia fig spread
- 3 or 4 slices of prosciutto
- arugula
- balsamic glaze or reduction you can make your own or purchase it
Preheat oven to 400
Slice baguette into thin slices on the diagonal.
Brush lightly with olive oil.
Toast on baking sheet in oven for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown. Flip halfway through.
Lay out prosciutto on a foil or parchment lined baking sheet. Allow to cool.
Break apart into bit size pieces.
Bake at 400 until crispy 5-10 minutes.
In a food processor blend cream cheese, goat cheese, honey and olive oil until creamy.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the crostini.
Spread whipped goat cheese onto the crostini.
Top with a dollop of fig jam.
Add a few pieces of arugula.
Top with a piece of crispy prosciutto.
Drizzle with balsamic reduction.
