Kids Bathroom Reveal and Fun Giveaway
I’ve been trying to update and organize things around here, not my home around here (that continues to be chaos!), but around here on the blog. You’ll notice if you hop over to my Projects Page and my Recipes Page, that everything is all cute and neat and you can easily find some of my favorite posts now. I was getting ready to work on my House Tour Page when scrolling through I realized I haven’t shared my kid’s bathroom with you all yet.
I don’t know why, it’s been sitting there all cute and finished just waiting for it’s debut.
Ok, well realistically it hasn’t been sitting there exactly like these photos.
Normally there is a fair amount of watermelon toothpaste smeared on the counter, several hundred bath toys scattered about, and a Sesame Street potty chair on the floor – to try to entice little man to do his thing.
So I spruced up a bit for the photos.
That’s when I realized why I haven’t shared it yet. Trying to get the photos. This is a tiny bathroom. A tiny bathroom I was determined to squeeze double sinks and a window in (I think this is the room that I drove our poor architect the most nuts about).
It actually is quite comfortable and roomy enough for both kids, for now… if little man keeps growing the way he is, I’m not sure how he is going to fold his future 7 foot teenage self in the shower. I guess we have a good 15 years yet til we need to worry about it.
Back to the photos, I really wish I could have video taped the whole process, you would have found it highly entertaining.
I won’t mention how many times I nailed my head on the shower curtain rod trying to take this shot,
or when it finally fell down when I was taking this one of the cute outdoor light fixtures we used from Lowe’s.
Or how I managed to turn the faucet on with my rear end while sitting in the sink trying to capture this one.
Let’s just say it was an experience.
I’ll share a few sources with you, my shower curtain, bath mat and towels are from Target. The colorful baskets in the nook are from Land of Nod. I already mentioned the lights were from Lowes, and don’t you love these cute prints?
I got them from the best Etsy shop called Wallfry. The designer Kylie makes the most adorable wall art for kids.
I have some of her prints in my playroom too.
They are so fun and she will make them in any color for you. I actually emailed her a photo of my shower curtain and she color matched these prints to it.
Great right? I’m so excited to offer this giveaway to you all, Kylie has agreed to give away a set of 4 of her 8 x 10 prints, any set – you can pick! In any colors, just head on over to her site to check out all the options.! All you need to do to get entered is to use the rafflecopter below to answer the question “Where would you hang your Wallfry wall art?”.
You can earn an additional entry each by “liking” The Lily Pad Cottage on Facebook, and “liking” Wallfry on Facebook too. The Giveaway will run until Saturday June 7. The winner will be notified and will have 48 hours to contact me or it will be passed onto the next person.
Good luck!
Official Stuff: I was given my bathroom wall art to review for free, however all opinions are my own.

Hi Kelly,
I just came across this post and I love how your bathroom turned out! I ordered prints from Wallfry after seeing this. :) I have been looking all over for hooded towels in simple colors like you found. I know it was awhile ago, but do you remember where you got them?
Thanks!
Kim
I bought them about 3 years ago so it has been a while, but they are from Target. I think they still have cute ones though, so you may want to check it out!
hi Kim! They are just from Target :) and it was a while ago, but they still have lots of cute options!
hi there! stumbled on your blog while searching for pictures of the light fixture we’re considering – the same one from lowes! this post was such a treat. :)
we’d also be using it in a bathroom, but ours is just a very small 5×8 bathroom and we’d only have 1 of these fixtures. how do you feel about the light it throws off? is it enough for the ONLY light fixture in a small bathroom? would you buy it again for the bathroom?
thanks so much!
Hey Rebecca, I LOVE these light fixtures but I will say the light isn’t spectacular. If it’s just a half bath or not your main bath I would say go for it, but I definitely wouldn’t want to have to put my makeup on in there. If you have a window that would probably help. We have the window, 2 of the lights and a 3rd light over the shower. Good luck!
HI Kelly! Showing this off tomorrow. Beautiful and looking for inspiration as I redo my children’s bathroom!
Thanks so much Courtney :)

So cute!
Hey… 2 questions, i LOVE the wall color AND the hooks you used for the towels… i am so copying! What is the color and where’d ya get those hooks lady!
Hey Robbi! Oh don’t hate me but I have no idea what the paint color is, it was some leftover paint from another project and was all used up! I think the hooks were just from Lowes maybe? Sorry I did this room pre-blogging so I don’t have it written down. Thanks!

what an adorable bathroom and that artwork is fabulous!! Great job!!!
These would be awesome in my kids new playroom! Bathroom too!
Hang them in my kids’ room to give them some inspiration
Hi Sherry, so sorry this is the one color I don’t have written down anywhere! My painter actually had this paint leftover from another job so I never found out the color, it is a really soft buttery yellow that I love.
Love your work!!
This turned out adorable Kelly! Love those fixtures! ;)
So cute! I love that you got a window in there!! And I love that you turned the faucet on with your butt…. ha hahahaha!
So many cute elements! You do the loveliest projects :) I like how it’s got a little fun and whimsy, while still staying classy!
Love your style! Would love some prints for my laundry room!
Love the prints Kelly! I’m so in love with that MIRROR though:0) Your boys have a pretty sweet mamma! Great job girl!
Love that teeth print :) I have been in the same boat trying to photograph small spaces. All you can do is laugh, right?! But then you feel really unstable because you are usually laughing to yourself at naptime. Or is that just me?
I loved the tour of your house, it’s beautiful. Where did you get the long sign that says Laundry, it would look great about the folding doors to my “closet” laundry cubby hole.
Wow love them.
What a great bathroom for KIDS he! he! of all ages. I love the colors! You are an amazing decorator. I’d love that art for just about anywhere to add a splash of color!
Thanks Shirl :) you are too sweet!
LOVE the colors you choose….
Thanks so much Christine, I wanted to keep the colors happy in here.
The things we go through to get a good shot! I also see you’re a TP roll under (not over) kind of gal – hmmmm, wonder what that says about you?
Love the colorful bathroom – and the cute accessories and love those signs!
Kelly
Actually 2 out of the 3 bathrooms are over and this one is under, now what does that say about me???? :)

Love the wall art! I am just starting to put together ideas for my daughters playroom and would love these prints. Thanks!
I have prints in my boys’ bathroom already, but I’ve been thinking of making a little reading nook for them. So maybe there! ps – I love the bathroom Kelly! And the visual of you taking pictures. Haha! SO glad there aren’t pictures of us taking pictures sometimes. Not always very graceful! ;)
Definitely not my most graceful, I felt a little like I was in mission impossible :)
Love the wall art, and everything about the bathroom! I would LOVE the wall art for our upstairs hallway, between the kids rooms! Great job on your gorgeous house.

That bathroom is enormous compared to the tiny one we have (ONE – for FOUR people – ACK!). I had to laugh at your picture-taking antics – sounds a lot like mine!
The things we do for blogging :)
Soooo cute! I would hang a set of the dog prints in my laundry room.
