Spring is here-ish in Michigan! We have had a few glorious 60 degree days and I am itching to get started on outdoor projects. While garden projects and flower boxes are a a ways off yet, I did set up the patio so I can enjoy the few random sunny days.

Our old outdoor furniture is still holding up well, but it was time for a new rug, pillows and umbrella. I’ve been on the hunt for a giant umbrella out here and I found the perfect one at Lowe’s. I mentioned this umbrella, and wow I’m so impressed with it! I was able to order it online and do an easy in-store pickup for it. It is a beautiful navy color, super heavy duty, easy to put together, and bonus it lights up! It has solar lights for nighttime, how fun is that?

I took a shot from the deck so you can see just how massive it is!

I also picked up a new rug and throw pillows while I was there. My patio is looking fresh and clean for spring.

I also finally caved to my daughter’s many requests for a pebble ice maker. I have to say, she was right, we are all obsessed with this thing!

Why does everything taste better with pebble ice? The price point was great on this one and it comes in a bunch of fun colors too. It fits great on the lower level bar counter.
