Our house always needs a bit of a reset after a summer full of fun. More specifically, our garage really needs the reset most! After a summer of tossing bikes, life jackets, and golf clubs in any available corner, our garage was looking rough. After a trip to Lowe’s we found everything we needed to get started. Bonus – they have lots of amazing deals right now with their Labor Day Sale happening!

We had a chilly weekend here, so it was the perfect time to tackle our garage. Lowe’s had everything we needed in stock, and I was able to do a quick and easy order pickup. I love that service – it’s so convenient!

If you follow me on instagram you know I used this awesome Rustoleum Epoxy kit last spring to seal our garage floor. I wish I had done it sooner because it just makes the garage feel so clean!

Our floor is still looking awesome, but we definitely needed more storage. I really wanted the ability to hide everything away. This Craftsman garage shelving system was the perfect solution. It took me 5 minutes to put together and is so sturdy. They have matching bins from 5 gallon all the way up to 50 gallons.

I did a mix of the 10 and 20 gallon size. It’s so nice to have all the gardening supplies, sports gear, outdoor pillow covers etc…each in their own dedicated bin.

Over on Dan’s side of the garage his hobbies were starting to take over. He loves to golf and do triathlons on the weekends, so we needed some unique storage solutions.

gray and white gladiator garage wall system

This Gladiator garage system is so awesome! It has every kind of accessory you could need to hang even the most awkward things.

It was super easy to install. We used a stud finder and a drill to screw the tracks into the studs. After that, it was easy to click in all the different hooks, shelves, and baskets. This system is so customizable.

I can’t tell you how many times I have tripped over his golf bag, so the fact that it has its own spot on the wall is amazing!

I’ve caught Dan just hanging out in the garage admiring his organized space a few times now ha! It does feel great to have a spot for everything. I’ve linked everything above in case you are in need of a good Labor Day weekend project. Be sure to check out all the other great deals at Lowe’s this Labor Day!
