Holiday Traditions

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bed Bath & Beyond for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love all the pretty decor and glitter of Christmas, but what I love even more is the Holiday traditions – new and old.

One thing I have done every year since I was a little girl was bake Christmas cookies with my Grandma and my mom. We always make these cute little wreath cookies with her vintage cookie press. Aren’t they cute?

You can find the recipe here. I know you are thinking, but wait I don’t have a super cool vintage cookie press from Grandma! I found this totally shiny brand new one at Bed Bath & Beyond. It’s the OXO  Good Grip Cookie Press, and has every shape imaginable for your Christmas cookie baking. A close up of a bottle While you are over at Bed Bath & Beyond putting this in your shopping cart, you should check out their Holiday Entertaining tips. They have you covered with everything, from how to throw the perfect Ugly Sweater Party, to doing the big pre-clean before your guests arrive. They even have these adorable Gingerbread house kits, this one is the Gingerbread Chalet Kit.Gingerbread house This is one tradition we have started with our own little family. Every year we get one of these kits (because who has time to make their own gingerbread? Not this girl.) and we have so much fun eating, er, I mean decorating it. Ours doesn’t look quite as pretty as the picture, but it was made with love and lots of laughs. Bed Bath & Beyond has a few different styles to choose from, your kids will love them. Now that we have our cookies made and the gingerbread house all decked out (or at least the parts that haven’t been eaten). I’m ready for our big Christmas Eve celebration. We always get together with my side of the family for a huge feast – appetizers, prime rib, german potato salad – the works! We make a huge buffet table and are always trying to keep everything warm. Maybe Santa will bring me one of these awesome Crock-Pot Hook Up Connectable Entertaining Systems for Christmas this year??

How about you? Are you ready for the holidays? Do you have any baking traditions or treats that are a must? I’d love to hear!
