Paper Plane Cocktail
I have the perfect refreshing cocktail for you today! It is full of citrusy flavor and the aperol gives it a gorgeous color. It would be so fun for a galantines or valentines dinner. A paper plane is a new-classic cocktail featuring amaro, aperol, lemon juice, and bourbon. It has a great tart flavor and is one of the Mr.’s favorite drinks.
With the light citrusy taste, it’s great served with appetizers or snacks. Perfect for your next party or get together. I especially love it in the winter months when I’m craving something lighter yet the bourbon still has a nice warmth to it.
It also makes a great after dinner drink as well.

I’ll be sharing a reel on instagram on how exactly to make it, but it’s easy once you have the right ingredients as it’s all equal parts.
I like to serve this in a coupe glass with a lemon twist. These glasses are affordable and the perfect size for this recipe.
To make a lemon twist use a knife or peeler to shave off a piece of lemon rind. I then wrap it around the handle of a cocktail stirring spoon while I’m mixing the rest of the cocktail.
