Friday Feels – Home Decor and Random Finds I Bought Recently

Is it just me or are the first couple weeks back to school somewhat brutal? Getting back into a routine is always tough and I am feeling soooo ready for the weekend! I’m also looking forward to cooler weather so I can finally break out my boots and sweaters. It’s still pretty warm here in Michigan but I know that will change soon.

I’ve been quite invested in home projects these last couple of weeks, which has been so much fun. I swapped out my kitchen backsplash and added vertical planking in our breakfast nook—both updates made the space feel so much cozier.

My Friday Feels picks are all over the place this week, but I hope you find some inspiration from my recent faves!

I just added these pretty sconces to our primary bedroom and they offered up the perfect refresh. I love how they look hanging above our neutral bedding. You can see how it turned out here.

It always drove me nuts to have a dishcloth hanging over my faucet. I recently bought this little magnetic gadget and it works so well. Plus, you can’t beat the price!

I love a good Target home decor find! I just bought this round mirror to hang in our entryway. The gold finish gives off a warm and welcoming feel.

We just bought this tufted leather ottoman for our basement and I’m so happy with the way it looks. The bronze legs paired with the caramel colored leather make it look a lot more expensive than it is.

I recently bought this chunky gold ring and think it will be so cute to wear throughout the Fall.

These are the shiplap wall planks that I used in our breakfast nook this week. I had a lot of questions about them in my DM’s so I thought I’d link them in case anyone was inspired to start their own DIY.

This has been my go-to tool to get a fresh blow out look. You use it on dry hair and it adds a lot of volume—no round brush needed!

I’m adding this black ceramic lamp to our entryway. It gives off a moody vibe which is perfect for the autumn season.

The handle on this dog leash is surprisingly comfy for being under $10. It comes in 7 different colors and won’t slip out of your grip—a must-have for any dog owner!

  1. The nook turned out great!
I’m the opposite. I love warm weather clothes (and flip-flops LOL) so much better than cold weather clothes. I love fall, but never look forward to winter. Thankfully ours are usually pretty mild. But I’m hanging on to summer!!
