Gift Guide for Teen Girls

Is it just me or are teens inevitably hard to shop for? I find this especially true with teen girls. The boys don’t really get too excited about gifts and yet the girls seem to get pickier and pickier each year. It also doesn’t help that they seem to have just about everything already.

If you’re struggling to find the perfect gift for the teen in your life, whether it’s your granddaughter, niece, neighbor, or your own child, I’m here to help!

As usual, I always go straight to the source and ask my kids scour the internet for their favorite finds. I’m sharing their “hard work” with you so you can score a useful and well-received gift for the recipient you’re shopping for. My teen is an athlete, a sneaker head, and a girlie girl. From workout gear to jewelry, I’ve got you covered!

Collection of gift guide items for a teenage girl

Teen Girl Gift Guide

  1. Daisy Eau So Fresh Eau de Toilette Pen Spray – My daughter wears this perfume and loves it! Getting the less expensive pen spray is always the way to go. Especially for finicky teens who like to change things up. This smells young and fresh and not overpowering.
  2. Multi Gem Pearl Choker – Pura Vida is always on her list for jewelry. She has a really similar necklace to this that she wears every day. The brand has so many cute finds and all of them are really fair price points—a win-win.
  3. Initial Pendant Necklace – Kendra Scott is always a safe bet for teenage girls as well. The quality is great for a little nicer gift that she will have a long time. Plus, an initial necklace is something that will never go out of style (and something that goes with everything.)
  4. Set 14K Gold Hoop Earrings – This inexpensive earring set would make such a good small gift! You could also combine it with other presents.
  5. Diffuserlove Ceramic Diffuser – A diffuser is a relaxing addition to a bedroom, and this one would fit on her bookshelves or nightstand.
  6. Essential Drip Lip Oil – Lip oil is all the rage right now (I personally love this one.) My daughter picked this up at her last trip to Ulta and loves it. It has a really subtle color and the shine is so pretty. It’s perfect for a “no makeup” makeup look and is sure to be a hit with tweens as well.
  7. The IceFlow Flip Straw Tumbler  – This one really needs no explanation, who doesn’t love a Stanley? It’s great for throwing in a sports bag as it doesn’t spill with the flip straw. Also, this brand just holds up really well over time—some of the knock offs just don’t quite cut it.
  8. JBL Go 3 Eco: Portable Speaker – These small portable speakers are a perfect gift since they’re affordable, unique, and useful. Throw one in your gym bag, or take it to the beach or to a bonfire. We have several JBL speakers and the sound quality is great (especially for the price point.) This one is small, waterproof, and comes in a bunch of fun colors. It also scores bonus points from me for being available on Amazon—ideal if you’re in a time crunch.
  9. Can Beverage Cooler – Another fun addition to a teen hangout spot, this mini-fridge can hold a few cans of pop to share with friends. It is also perfect for storing skincare products too!
  10. Gymshark Everyday Seamless Shorts -My cross country runner loves these shorts for hitting the gym. They stay in place and wash up well.
  11. Sherpa Bed Blanket  – Cozy blankets are a must in every teen bedroom. This sherpa one is a great addition to an arm chair, the end of the bed, or a basket filled with a variety of throws.
  12. Jordan 1 Elevate Low  – My daughter is constantly stalking shoes on StockX and these have been on her wish list for a while. I can always get behind a gift that’s practical, and I know these will get a lot of wear.
  13. High Rise Loose Jean – The fit of these jeans is so cute, and they come in several washes.
  14. Scuba High Rise Joggers – Lululemon is always a splurge, but I will say the quality is great and these will last her a long time.
  15. Essential Sunday Half-Zip – Abercrombie has obviously gotten much more popular with adults recently, but it’s still a good go-to for teens. This half-zip is one of the brand’s bestsellers and it’s such a good piece to have in your wardrobe.
  16. Coofay Gym Backpack – My daughter has had this gym bag for a few years. It’s a great size, and it has a special compartment on the bottom for her shoes. It also comes in tons of fun color options—and it’s under $30.
  17. Chargefeel 2 Low Women’s Workout Shoe – Another splurge item (teen girls really love their Lululemon) but I’ve heard great things about these shoes. She is in the gym 4 or 5 times a week, so a good quality shoe is a must.
  18. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – If you’re really stumped on what to gift your teen, I promise you can’t go wrong with this lip mask. It’s super hydrating and very trendy within the teen space.
  19. Portable Phone Charger – Let’s be honest, teens are pretty much always on their phones. I don’t know about you, but the last thing I want is for my kids to be out and about with a phone without battery. Consider this portable charger a gift for both of you.
  20. Amino Gel Cleanser – Skincare seems to become a trendier topic in the teen space each year, and I swear some teen girls have a better skincare routine than even I do. This face wash is apparently all the rage.

Happy shopping!
