Hot Honey Apple BLT Sandwich
We took a beach vacation this fall and I ordered the best BLT sandwich I’ve had it my life there. I was determined to recreate it at home and see if it only tasted good because I was ocean side with a glass of wine. I’m happy to report this Hot Honey Apple BLT Sandwich is just as good on a random Tuesday night at home.
I love a good BLT, but add in the sweetness of a crunchy granny smith apple and it’s a whole new taste.
The other ingredient that makes this ridiculously good is hot honey. I love hot honey on anything from chicken to pizza, so a BLT sandwich makes sense.
You could just use mayo and hot honey on this sandwich, but I mixed up a little dressing with mayo, hot honey, and dill. The dill gives it that extra bit of interest.
My other secret weapon is candied bacon. I cook my bacon in the oven with a little sprinkle of brown sugar on top and it makes it extra crunchy and sweet.

Nutrition
This hot honey BLT would be great served with chips, a side salad, or a delicious pasta salad. This is definitely going to be a repeat recipe this summer once the tomatoes are fresh and ripe here in Michigan.
