Nautical Playroom Pillows
This post is sponsored by OnlineFabricStore.net but all ideas and honest opinions are my own.
I’ve been hunting for the perfect throw pillows for the playroom for a while, well, and let’s be honest when am I not on the hunt for the perfect throw pillow? They are such a cheap and easy way to change up my decor that I can’t resist a good one. So, when I saw the new Premier Prints at Online Fabric Store I knew exactly what I wanted to make!
I immediately spotted these cute fabrics and knew they would bring the perfect pop of fun to the playroom.
I love the crisp cottage feel of Stripe Coastal Grey Slub.
The fun nautical vibe of the Linked Blue/White fabric.
And I just couldn’t resist the Lobster Timberwolf Red Macon one, because little man has become obsessed with lobsters lately. We have to visit the lobster tank every time we hit up the grocery store. Yeah, I haven’t broken the news to him yet that they are actually delicious to eat. He thinks they sell them as pets. :)
But back to the pillows, don’t they look cute in here? My kids have been loving them!
You all know I can hardly sew and I usually resort to my hot glue gun while avoiding my sewing machine at all costs. Throw pillows however require no fancy sewing and if I can do it, you can too. I don’t have an earth shattering throw pillow tutorial for you – I just sewed them inside out, stuck my pillow forms in there and then sewed the end shut. Easy!
I love that Online Fabric Store has all sorts of cute and affordable fabrics that I can’t normally find in my local stores. If you are a throw pillow hoarder like me than you definitely need to check them out!
You can also see more of my playroom here, here and what it usually looks like in it’s crazy state here  Hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend!
What paint color is the blue on the wall next to the one with all the letters?
It’s Newburyport Blue by Benjamin Moore :)
your playroom is gorgeous….love the pillows and where did you find those polka dot bean bags??? So cute
Hey Christine they are from PB Teen!
Playroom looks great and I love the pillows. I will have to checkout that fabric company. Thanks so much for sharing.
Have a great week.
Mary
Thanks Mary, they have so many cute prints!
I just bought the grey striped fabric and I am in love!
oh yay, isn’t it great? I still have a yard left over and I’m saving it for another fun project!
The pillows are great!! You live by a lake correct? The pillows remind me of colors and patterns that should be by a lake. Wise decision not to tell the little guy about the lobsters — would crush his poor little heart..
We do live right on the lake so they fit in pretty perfect around here :)
My daughter has to go see the lobsters when she comes to the grocery store with me, too! She calls them “monsters”! ;) Love the pillows! Very nautical!
Mine too!
aww so cute, love the “monsters” :)
