3 Ingredient Sugar Cookie Shakes
Hey all! Long time, no post. All week I have been caught up in finishing up the Christmas shopping, wrapping up the gifts, and baking cookies.
I was in charge of bringing Christmas cookies to my daughters school this year for the party. I spent all day baking and frosting and taste testing…
lots of taste testing…
Then the big day came and…
there was a huge ice storm and school was closed!
There may have been tears, until little Miss Sunshine stopped, tapped her finger to her chin (a sure sign that a spark of brilliance is about to emerge) and exclaimed – “Wait, does that mean we get to eat all the cookies ourselves???”
She is a half glass full kind of girl :)
Alas 4 dozen cookies is sort of a lot for 4 people to take on. They started to get a bit stale and crunchy, when my own little spark of brilliance struck (cue the finger tapping…)
Sugar Cookie Shakes!
Yup, dump those cookies in a blender my friends!
The best part? There are only 3 ingredients – milk, cookies, and ice cream.
I used 3 big scoops of ice cream, 1/2 cup of milk and 2 sugar cookies in this. Blend in a blender until smooth and top with whip cream.
I think even Santa would approve of this one.
Little Miss Sunshine herself, sure did…
They made the perfect after sledding treat!
Great idea!!!! You are a genius.
I always believe making lemonade out of the lemons we are tossed. You did just that only this had cookies, milk, and ice cream :-) In winter you never know what you’re going to get so it’s always good to have alternate plans.
Yum and how cute. What a wonderful idea.
