Apple Whiskey Ginger Cocktail
I have the perfect holiday cocktail recipe for you today! I’m not hosting Thanksgiving this year, but if I was this would be a crowd pleaser to serve. We are big bourbon fans in this house and every once in a while I’ll try a whiskey too. If you don’t love whiskey though, you may love this. I bought the cutest little bottle of Crown Royal Apple. It adds a delicious sweetness to this Apple Whiskey Ginger Cocktail.

I ordered a similar version of this cocktail while we were out last weekend. It was so good I knew I had to try to make it at home. I had never had Crown Royal Apple Whiskey before and yum! I had been missing out!

Apple Whiskey Ginger Ingredients :
- Apple Crown Royal
- Lime juice
- Honey simple syrup
- Ginger Ale
- Cranberries & Cinnamon Sugar for Garnish
This cocktail has a hint of sweetness from the apple whiskey, but it also has a bit of honey simple syrup in it. Dan has made a lot of different simple syrups in the past for cocktails. They sound fancy, but it’s usually just equal parts sugar and water boiled together.
Honey simple syrup is even easier than that! I just mixed equals parts honey and hot water in a mason jar and shook it until it dissolved. So easy and a great way to flavor cocktails.

I love the pop of color the cranberries added to this cocktail, but you could easily leave them out. Or this cocktail would be delicious with the cranberry ginger ale that is usually available around the holidays too!

The sweetness of the honey and apple with the tartness of the lime juice is so good. Add in the bubbles from the ginger ale and it’s a great cocktail.
