Welcome to our Home! We built our lovely little lake house in 2010. I have been enjoying decorating, redecorating, painting, gardening, cooking and crafting since then.

Come on in!
Don’t worry about the sand I swear my kids have dragged half the sandbox in here already…
Especially our dog Buddy (he loves to photo bomb!) who is always hunting for crumbs.
The kitchen is part of our main living space which is pretty much one big room with our kitchen, dining area and living room. We wanted to keep this open so we could all hang out together when I’m cooking, the Mr. is working on his computer or the kids are chasing the dog around the couch.
This is our dining area I recently added the plate wall and I love the pop of color!
From the calm and peaceful (at least when it’s not dinner time) dining room, straight into the mudroom - which is normally complete chaos.
Off the mudroom is this cute little half bath. I’m working on some finishing touches in here and I’ll be sharing it all on the blog soon.
We can also take a swing thru the laundry room, which NEVER looks this clean, I can’t actually see the floor in this room in real life at the moment – so feel special that I spiffied up in here for you all.
Let’s run upstairs and check out the bedrooms.
This is our master bedroom. It’s under construction at the moment but here are a few sneak peaks of my new DIY upholstered bed. Stay tuned for more changes in here.
In the meantime we can just enjoy the view!
My absolute FAVORITE spot in the whole house, is my bathroom. It’s so calm in here, it’s definitely my place to restore my sanity after a long day with the kiddos.
You are now entering the kid land section of the tour, beware of stepping on stray legos! Everything in here was designed around our 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son and they love to play in these spaces.
First up the playroom - which never, ever looks this clean, if you open those big toy closets you will be buried under an avalanche of barbies and matchbox cars…
This hallway leads down to the kids rooms – anyone need a ski ride?
Our cozy reading nook.
My daughter’s new big girl room, we had so much fun designing this colorful room together.
My son’s nursery just got a nautical big boy makeover too which he loves.
And since we are in the midst of potty training I’ll show you our kids bath too!
Well I think you have seen it all, should we head out back for some s’mores??
This is the lake side of the house. We have big plans to add a pergola on the back for some shade in the future.
Our Backyard – the very best part of our house!
