I have the perfect holiday cocktail for you today. It would make a delicious Christmas Eve Dessert on it’s own, but it would be great served with pie or sugar cookies too! I love a cup of coffee after dinner and this Amaretto Coffee Cocktail is a favorite recipe.
Coffee with a shot of Baileys in it is a pretty delicious treat on its own. Add in amaretto, caramel, and a cinnamon sugar rim and you have a party! We recently had this cocktail for dessert at a local restaurant in Grand Rapids and I knew immediately I needed to recreate it at home.
The caramel cinnamon sugar rim makes it SO delicious! That adds enough sweetness for me, but if you like your coffee sweet you could totally stir in a bit of caramel as well. I’ve also made this with Salted Caramel Baileys – so good!
This would be fun to set up a little coffee bar for a holiday party. You can rim the coffee mugs with caramel and cinnamon ahead of time. Then set out the Baileys, amaretto, cream, and sugar. Your guests can doctor up their own drinks!
Amaretto Coffee Ingredients
- Freshly brewed coffee
- Cinnamon sugar
Amaretto Coffee Cocktail
- 1 cup Coffee
- 1.5 oz Amaretto
- 1.5 oz Baileys Irish Cream
- 2 tbsp caramel sauce
- 2 tsp cinnamon sugar
- Brew coffee.
- Microwave store bought caramel sauce in a small bowl. Dip empty mug in caramel.
- Pour cinnamon sugar on a small plate. Dip the caramel rim in the sugar.
- Pour coffee into mug.
- Add Baileys and amaretto. Stir well.
This Amaretto Coffee Cocktail will definitely be a crowd pleaser at any celebration or dinner party!
