Nothing gets me more excited for a new season than by refreshing my interiors with seasonal decor. In recent weeks, as we’ve inched closer to fall, I’ve been brainstorming some decor pieces that will bring a festive touch to our home. Deeper hues, dried florals, cozy throws, and of course some tasteful pumpkins are some easy fall decor ideas that can be seamlessly incorporated into the existing aesthetic of your home.
Throw pillows are always a great place to start when updating a space to reflect the season—they’re an easy swap that make a big impact. For fall, I find myself reaching for deep autumnal shades that tie into our space. Adding in more natural materials (think wood and stone) also make for a warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere. You may remember this oversized stone vase —it remains a favorite in the living room and I can’t wait to style it with dried hydrangeas, branches, and leaves. Below you can find even more fall decor ideas to help you achieve a festive season at home.
Faux Mohair Throw Pillow
Throw pillows are a great way to switch up decor to reflect a new season. Shades like terracotta, olive green, and brick are perfect hues for fall. All you have to do is pick a few that fit with your existing decor and you’ll have a fresh fall vibe.
Faux Aspen Leaf Garland
I love incorporating garland into my seasonal decor come the fall. This aspen leaf garland would look beautiful draped over a console table or as part of a fall tablescape.
Isn’t this just the cutest neutral pumpkin? A few of these would make for the perfect fall accent to have sprinkled around the house.
Bronze Taper Candle Holders
Taper candles can be displayed year round, but I find they fit in even better in the fall and winter months. Plus, the flickering lights the candles provide makes for a cozy autumn ambience.
Faux Autumn Bittersweet Branch
I love filling my stoneware vase with seasonally appropriate floral stems and branches. Bittersweet is such a beautiful fall vine that would bring a nice pop of color to a kitchen counter, bathroom, or nightstand.
Organic Teak Wood Pedestal
I love the raw edge and natural wood of this pedestal. It’s perfect for use as a cheese board when entertaining, and would be equally chic as a centerpiece on a kitchen island.
Faux Green & White Pumpkin
Pumpkins are obviously a necessity when it comes to festive fall decor. I love the uniqueness of this green and white one, but Pottery Barn sells a collection of faux pumpkins and gourds in varying colors and sizes.
Matte Large White Vase
Vases of different sizes, shapes, and colors are great, multi-purpose decor pieces to have on hand. They’re easy to swap in and out depending on the season, and can easily be moved around a space. This matte white vase adds nice texture and would look so pretty containing dried grasses.
Blush Throw Blanket
A throw blanket is a cool weather essential, but it can also be worked into a space as decor. A thicker knit and richer hue makes this throw blanket much more seasonal.
Black Metal Haunted Houses
Fall decor can involve touches of Halloween—but it doesn’t have to look cheesy! I love the subtle nod these metal haunted houses bring to the holiday.
These glass pumpkins create an elevated twist on a fall decor staple. Incorporating different textures and materials helps to keep things fresh and interesting.
Faux Hydrangea Bundle
As you know, I love having grasses, leaves, and flowers as part of my home decor. Dried hydrangeas are a beautiful option for autumn, and I love that this faux version can be used season after season.
Mango Wood Lanterns
I love lanterns for their ability to work both inside and outside. These simple wood lanterns would add a sense of warmth to the hearth of a fireplace. Place your favorite candle inside to create some extra lighting.
Ceramic Gourd Pumpkin
If neutrals are more of your aesthetic these ceramic gourd pumpkins are for you. They provide just the right touch of seasonality.
Fluted Amber Glass Candle
There is nothing better than the home smelling of fall and this candle will do just that! Plus, the vessel is beautiful and will look great while sitting out on display.
