Valentines Day is approaching and I don’t normally decorate a whole lot for Valentines. The Mr. is one of those grumpy “it’s such a Hallmark holiday blah blah blah” guys, which is just his excuse not to buy me anything :) (although I bet if all my favorite blog followers (that would be you) gave him a nudge maybe a girl could score a box of chocolates at least!)
I thought it would be fun to do a quick Valentines chalkboard.
My Halloween – Thanksgiving – Christmas wreath wasn’t up to anything so I added that too…
and you know everything’s more fun with a pom pom on it.
Of course some hugs and kisses couldn’t hurt either.
That’s my 15 minute quickie attempt at Valentine’s decorating, so easy and I’m kinda loving it that way.
I’ll be back with a few more kid friendly Valentines projects later in the week, oh and that Giveaway I promised last week (I really promise this time, check back on Wednesday!!)
I thought my boyfriend was the only one that called it a Hallmark Holiday! Silly men!
Your chalkboard and wreath are adorable!
Thanks so much for linking to Make the Scene Monday @ Alderberry Hill. You are being featured tomorrow!
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead, and join me tomorrow evening for Make the Scene Monday #59!
Simple, sweet and cute!

Very cute! I love the wreath around it!
Very cute! I have never really decorated for Valentines Day before, but all these cute Valentine ideas I am seeing, has me inspired. :)
Cute! Found you thru Thistlewood, just started my blog about our 1831 farmhouse two months ago! Wishing you all the best. ~melissa
Your pom poms are so fun! I started getting some valentines day decorations up this week and it makes me so happy! :)
Very cute! And tell that hubby of yours it’s just one day a year set aside to really show those you love that you love them!!
How adorable! Love chalkboards and the little pom poms are too sweet!!
What a fun idea! I love the little heart border! Easy and fun and full of joy!
I heart this!
Cute! I don’t do much decorating for Valentine’s either. My hubby calls it the same thing yours does. Every year, though, I think about doing something on the doors. Maybe this will be the year it finally gets done.
Kelly, did you make your pompoms or buy them? Just curious!
