Wallpapered Cottage Bathroom
Now that I’ve shared the mudroom, primary bed & bath and the kitchen of my parent’s new cottage, let’s make our way over to the guest bath. Smaller bathrooms are such a fun place to use wallpaper, so we did just that in this space. Let me break down all the details of this wallpapered cottage bathroom.

My parent’s really use this guest bathroom more as a powder room for their house. However, for resale value down the road we wanted to make sure it had a shower for those that may turn the office into a guest bedroom.

It’s a small space, but we utilized the square footage really well in here with a pedestal sink and small glass shower.

Since this bathroom has no natural light from a window we wanted to keep things light and bright.

We wanted a really classic cottage vibe for this room, so we used traditional finishes like patterned penny tile, and tongue and groove wainscoting.

Chrome finishes for all of the fixtures felt like the right call for this bathroom.

We added in this whimsical floral wallpaper with blue and green tones for some color.

I opted for striped towels for a bit more subtle pattern and interest.

A vintage wicker stool with a fern finishes this small but mighty room.

I’m so happy with how this small bathroom really packs a big punch!
