Primary Bedroom Striped Wallpaper
I mentioned that I’ve been working on a little bedroom refresh the past few weeks and I thought I would share the latest addition today. I’m still waiting on a new rug and a few throw pillows to show up. However, I couldn’t wait any longer to debut our new primary bedroom striped wallpaper!

I loved our bedroom paint color, but we had painted our previous bedroom the same color as well. After 11 years with the color I was ready for a change.

I’d been thinking about wallpaper for a while. I liked the idea of seeing that added texture from the living room.

I finally settled on this gorgeous striped wallpaper from Copper Corners. Mary Catherine is an amazing local artist and her studio is only about 15 minutes from my house.

She has tons of gorgeous wallpaper options to choose from, but I fell in love with the classic yet subtle stripe of this Hampton wallpaper. I have it in the color Khaki, but it comes in a few color ways. She was super kind to extend a coupon code to me for all of you. You can use code LilyPadCottage to get 10% off your purchase.

It feels so light and fresh in here and also somehow cozier too!

I have a new patterned rug coming that will add even more dimension to this space. The shipping date keeps getting moved back so it sounds like I’ll be sharing in 2023 at this point!

I also swapped out the wall sconces in here as well. The brass fixtures elevated the space and the lamp shades provide the softest light. It really feels like a cozy sanctuary to come home to at the end of the day.

I made a quick switch to the wall art as well.

Wallpaper is a great way to add more personality, texture, and color to a space. We have wallpapered quite a few rooms in our home.

I’m so happy with how this space ties into our newly refreshed bathroom as well. It’s all just very calm and soothing.

Stay tuned for more updates to this space as I wait on a few more details to arrive!

I love your wallpaper and the color! Everything looks beautiful and so crisp!
Thanks so much!
It looks lovely. I’ve been thinking of adding a striped wallpaper to my bedroom. Can I ask why you left the wall behind the bed bare?
It may be hard to tell in the photos but the back wall has a board and batten trim treatment on it so we decided not to remove all of that to wallpaper. Thanks!
Beautiful!! Noticed that someone else asked about window shades, I would appreciate your input on what shades you used for your bedroom french doors and windows. I am needing something for living room windows. Thank you!
Hey yes we have cellular shades from Budget Blinds. I like that they disappear almost completely when they are up.
You have a gift for making an already great room even more lovely. I am beginning to renovate and older lake home. Would you share what type of trim you use, base moulding and board and batten?
Thanks!
Thanks so much. I think our baseboards are 6 inches, our door trim is 4 inches on the sides and 6 on the top? The board and batten is set 12 inches apart and they are 2 inches wide.
Thanks!
I love what you did!! You have such fabulous taste!! Your home always looks so beautiful and well styled. And immaculate!!! I don’t know how you do it with 2 kids, a husband and a dog!! I’m in awe of you!! Question….do you have window treatments in your bedroom? I didn’t see any blinds , shades or curtains. Well done!!!
Thanks so much Kathy!! We have cellular shades from Budget Blinds. I like that they almost disappear when they are up – thanks!
Arriving at the door to your gorgeous bedroom must really put a smile on your face! It’s lovely, Kelly. Those 2 velvet throw pillows are the perfect complement to the new wall art and those glorious brass sconces! Love the wallpaper, too. Such a beautiful room!
Beautiful! Where is the wall mirror from?
It’s old from target actually, thanks!
